YOU GUYS.

It’s finally the weekend I’m seeing these amazing guys in concert!

I am so excited to see Thirdstory, I’ve been listening to their EP and their covers all week.

One of my favorites is G Train.

I took choir in high school so I have a weakness for a Capella.

Nonetheless, this trio is unbelievably talented. Their harmonies are incredible.

I’ll be doing a vlog/story time about their concert this weekend so stay tuned!

Listen to their song G Train here.

Until next time,

Chloe

Closer by The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey

THIS HAS BEEN MY JAM ALL WEEK.

I absolutely love it, I listen to it at the gym, when I’m driving to or from work.

I love that it tells a little story about young love; I feel like one of the biggest problems with music nowadays is that none of these songs tell a story like they used to back in the day.

AND.

I just got a tattoo on my shoulder so whenever that line comes up, “bite that tattoo on your shoulder,” I feel like it’s a personal shout out to me, even thought it’s not at all.

I hope you all had a wonderful Monday.

Until next time,

Saw It Coming by G-Eazy

For this week’s music Monday I’m obviously going to have to choose Saw It Coming by G-eazy.

If you guys haven’t noticed I’m obviously a very big fan of his. I first heard of him when he was just starting out and I really enjoy his music.

This is from the new Ghostbusters adaptation, but I already think it’s going to be a fun Halloween song once fall finally rolls around.

This song is also safe for work so have fun with this one!
Until next time,

 Chloe

Home Alone by Ansel Elgort

In case you needed yet another reason to swoon over Ansel Elgort, I give you his latest single, Home Alone. This dance track is great for when you need to get work done, or if you just need to bust a move. I listen to it when I’m getting ready for the day, when I’m driving around town, or when I’m finally at the end of a shift.

Yes, the beat itself is very catchy, but what really draws me to this track is Elgort’s silky smooth vocals. You’re not just listening to another auto tuned robot, his voice is seriously beautiful. The song was released not even a week ago and is already topping the charts.

Besides being adorably charming, Elgort is best known for his roles in The Fault in Our Stores and The Divergent Series.

Keep on making music man, cause we’re loving it!

You can listen to his song here.

Until next time,

Chloe

City of Stars by Ryan Gosling

So this movie La La Land isn’t coming out until December, but I’m already excited for this movie. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are a dynamic duo, and I will gladly go see any movie they star in together.

However, to hold me over until this movie is finally released, is the song that was featured in the trailer. If you didn’t know, Ryan Gosling is the lead singer of his band, Dead Man’s Bones. Just like his looks, his voice is heavenly.

I was wandering around parks aimlessly today with this tune in my ears. What a wonderful song to hear while getting lost in the trees.

You can listen to the song and view the trailer by clicking here.

Until next time,

Chloe

You Don’t Own Me by Grace feat. G-eazy

I’ve recently covered this on my blog, but it needs more recognition. Originally recorded by Lesley Gore, G-easy has done it again, revamping a classic to appeal to a modern generation.

I don’t normally listen to rap, but I will for G-Eazy. His work has much more depth and meaning then others. He’s an extremely talented man with the world at his fingertips, I can’t wait to see what else he has in store.

Grace’s vocals are so flawless and strong, it’s very uplifting.

I did a little cover of this on my Instagram iamfashioncoco so you should head over and check it out if you haven’t already.

Until next time,

Toothbrush by DNCE

Oh my gosh. This week’s pick is my latest obsession. I know I saw that with every Music Monday song, but that’s kind of the point. This song just makes me happy and gets me pumped up about the day. I have a 30-45 minute commute to work, and you better believe I’m blasting this song and that there is some major car dancing going on. DNCE’s frontman is Joe Jonas, from the former band the Jinas Brothers (when I was little this was my one direction). Everyone knows Cake By the Ocean, but this song is just gold to my ears. Any song that can lift my spirits and get me dancing is a favorite.

Ma Liberte De Penser by Florent Pagny

Florent Pagny  was born on November 6th, 1961 . He is a French singer, songwriter and actor. He has sold over five million singles and ten million albums, making him the seventeenth artist in France between 1955-2013.

You can listen to the song here.

It’s Music Monday!

Hallelujah, this is one of my favorite days. Today’s song choice is I Wanna Know by Alesso. I kept hearing this song at the store I work at and wanted to know who it was. It took a couple days, but eventually I found it and thank god I did. It’s not just the catchy beat and lyrics that keep this song on repeat, but it’s also Alesso’s soothing voice. Alesso has this incredibly sultry voice that is so refreshing in today’s music.

I hope you guys like it as I much as I do, I’m pretty obsessed. You can listen to the song here

Until next time,

Chloe
